Friends of the Columbia Gorge

Mission: Friends of the Columbia Gorge shall vigorously protect the scenic, natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the Columbia River Gorge. We fulfill this mission by ensuring strict implementation of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Act and other laws protecting the region of the Columbia River Gorge; promoting responsible stewardship of Gorge land, air, and waters; encouraging public ownership of sensitive areas; educating the public about the unique natural values of the Columbia River Gorge and the importance of preserving those values; and working with groups and individuals to accomplish mutual preservation goals.

American Red Cross

Mission: The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

F.I.D.O. – Friends Involved in Dog

Mission: Providing pet food to ensure that the bond between people and their pet companions is unbroken.

Parkinson Foundation

Mission: To invest in promising scientific research that will end Parkinson’s disease and improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s, and their families.

Swing for Hope – Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club

Mission: The members of the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club continue to support our children in need within our local community. In 2016, they supported Miles from Molly and the Portland Assistance League’s Operation School Bell.

Mission: Triple B Foundation for Pet Therapy’s mission is to enhance the well-being of those in need through the human-animal bond.

SMART – Start Making a Reader Today

Mission: One child at a time. One volunteer at a time. One book at a time. Since 1992, SMART has been pairing caring adult volunteers with children to provide reading support and books to take home and keep. SMART volunteers read one-on-one with students weekly during the school year, modeling a love of reading and building children’s reading skills and self-confidence in a positive, child-guided environment.

Mission: To inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Animal Aid

Mission: to reduce animal suffering by providing assistance to abused, homeless, injured, and sick animals; find loving, dependable, and nurturing forever homes for the animals in our care; actively promote the altering of all pets to reduce overpopulation; and educate the public by promoting respect for all animals, the ethic of compassion, and the need to be kind and responsible stewards.

Humane Society for SW Washington

Mission: The Humane Society for Southwest Washington enriches the lives of people, pets and our community through adoption and outreach, and serves as a resource for companion animal services and education.

Mission: To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.
