Carrie Howard

Marketing & Client Events Coordinator

Carrie Howard is the Marketing and Client Events Coordinator at Financial Investment Team. Carrie has been with FIT since October 0f 2013. Carrie is responsible for putting together educational and social events for our clients and the community. Diana’s calendar is also managed by Carrie, so please feel free to reach out to her for scheduling or for anything event oriented.

Carrie’s favorite event is the annual Fall Family Fun Day at the pumpkin patch because she gets the opportunity to meet new people who come as the guests of our clients. She also really enjoys coordinating the FIT annual golf event and barbecue. “Hosting events like these are a great way to get to know our clients and annual events are always fun as they are something that we all look forward to each year,” Carrie says.

Carrie recognizes one of her favorite parts of her job is being able to plan volunteer events for FIT. She says, “making meals at the Ronald McDonald house and cleaning up litter at our Adopt-a-Road are two examples of volunteer projects in which we are proud to participate.”

Carrie is a native Oregonian and a 1995 University of Oregon graduate. She lives in Beaverton with her husband of almost 20 years. Their son, Cooper, is a high school student who loves soccer, basketball, and music. The Howard family is rounded out by three dogs (2 yellow labs, Gus and Boomer, and a rescue Dachshund named Skipper). Carrie’s active family enjoys many outdoors activities including hiking, biking, skiing, tennis, golf, and taking the dogs to the Oregon coast. Baking is one of her favorite hobbies, as she loves to treat her friends and family to homemade baked goods, especially cookies and cupcakes. A few of Carrie’s favorite things: coffee, warm weather, Friday morning hikes with my dogs and husband, pizza/game/movie night, cheering for her son’s sports teams, and dinner parties with friends.
