Joe Hutchinson is a Portfolio Manager at Financial Investment Team. Following a long career as a mechanical engineer, Joe discovered that his true calling was investment management; at first managing his own assets and then deciding to make a formal career pivot to becoming a professional investment manager. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in economics, accounting, and finance. Joe is a CFA® charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst® designation).
Joe’s favorite aspect of working at FIT is being a member of a true team in every sense of the word. Professionally, each member of the FIT team is invested in ensuring quality outcomes for every client with regard to their financial planning, investment management, and tax needs. The FIT team takes considerable pride in cultivating quality, long-lasting relationships with clients and each other.
A native Oregonian, Joe lives in Wilsonville with his wife Grazia, his mother-in-law Yvonne, and their Irish goldendoodle, George. In his spare time, Joe enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, fishing, and rooting on his beloved Beavers!
